Lead Pastors
Bishop Jonathan & Missy Fuson
Born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, Pastor Jonathan grew up in Michigan, where he met his lovely wife, Missy. After graduating high school, he attended Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry. Returning to Michigan, they took a pastorate in White Cloud, Michigan, and later in Belleville, Michigan. Pastor Jonathan completed his Master of Divinity degree from Liberty University. Relocating to Maryland in April 2019, they now direct the Chesapeake Christian Center (C3) as lead pastors.
Jonathan and Missy have four wonderful children: Isaac, Hannah, Josiah, and Ariel. Missy graduated from Lee University with a degree in Elementary Education and later completed a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership. Currently, she is an Assistant Principal for Anne Arundel County Public Schools and also serves as the Worship Pastor at C3. Pastor Jonathan is an avid Detroit sports fan, but since their relocation to Maryland, he has adopted the Orioles and Ravens as his two local favorite sports teams. They love camping, spending time outdoors, education, and traveling as a family.
Pastor Jonathan has a vision for intergenerational ministry, and for the surrounding communities to discover a love relationship with Jesus Christ.
